Mike Had a Crazy Idea  In 2015, Mike was just trying to feed his family better. The research all pointed in the same direction: grass-fed beef. Sourcing it, however, turned out to be a whole other nightmare. So he bought a share of a cow. Yes, an actual cow. Cut to: over 1 billion meals. The Cow Share That Started It All In what can now be recognized as Mike's first act of Butcher Energy, he did what anyone obsessed would do: bought a share of a cow. Yes, an actual cow. He started with a quarter-share, upgraded to a whole one to split with friends, and quickly realized that everyone wanted access to top-tier protein but no one had the slightest clue how to get it. Naturally, he found a local farmer who began delivering trash bags full of meat to his door. The quality was extraordinary. The experience was not.  We Didn't Start a Meat Company—We Started a Beef The meat industry runs on fine print and consumer confusion, and it has for decades. ButcherBox exists to make the best meat — humanely raised, responsibly sourced, no shortcuts — the easiest choice you make all week. We're not perfect. But we are relentless. And we have the receipts to prove it. Who We Answer To  No investors. No fiduciary board. Just the people we feed. Most companies have investors breathing down their necks. We don't have any. We’re here for the farmers who raise our animals, the planet we source from, the people who work for us, throughout our supply chain, and the families we feed. That's it. That's the whole list.

Meat Church Texas Sugar BBQ Rub

This versatile Southwestern pork and poultry rub, with cumin notes, offers a delightful mix of sweetness and a subtle spicy kick, reminiscent of our popular Holy Voodoo blend. It works wonders on ribs, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, seafood, smoked cream cheese, and popcorn. Despite its sweetness, the rub is not overly sugary, standing out as less sweet than six of our other seasonings. Many competition cooks have achieved success using this rub on their ribs, pork, and chicken dishes in sanctioned BBQ competitions. Available in a 12 ounce shaker, 1-pound bag, or 5-pound bag.  Ingredients: Sugar, Honey Powder (Refined Syrup, Honey), Salt, Spices, Paprika, Dehydrated Garlic, and Dehydrated Onion. No Gluten. No MSG.  https://www.meatchurch.com/collections/bbq-rubs/products/texas-sugar

Meat The Butchers

Meat The Butchers pride itself on providing raw, grass-fed, and free-range proteins that have been sourced from sustainable family farms to Southern California businesses for the last 50 years. It’s because we source from family-owned farms with the highest standards in the care they take of their animals and their land. The integrity and expertise found in these American family farms can’t be matched by any commercial farm that stocks supermarket shelves. And it isn’t matched by other meat companies that call themselves quality but pick the lowest level of “premium” from lesser animals raised less well. With celebrity chefs and restaurants returning to us again and again, we knew we were doing right. And we wanted to do the same for families like yours. So, after three years of research, we engineered an eco-friendly way to ship our fresh meats to your doorstep within 48 hours. That’s how we’re bringing the best from American farmers to American families like yours and making the most flavorful, healthiest, sustainable meats the standard in your household.
